There are times when, even though you’re an adult, you just want to play hard, jump around, move your body, and not think about anything. Of course, you could go running, work out, or go to a concert with standing tickets and jump around with everyone. But there was a time when I suddenly thought of trampolines.
When I was young, I used to spend hours jumping on outdoor trampolines with my friends until we were completely exhausted. At some point, though, I stopped seeing outdoor trampolines around me. (Of course, it might simply be because they had fallen outside my field of interest.)

I started wondering if there were still places where I could jump on trampolines these days, and whether there were places where adults could enjoy them too. That’s how I found VAUNCE Trampoline Park near Samsung Station in Seoul. I initially thought adults might not be allowed to use it, but surprisingly, I found reviews from adults who had visited. I also heard that they hold workshops here.
So, why not go before it’s too late? A few friends and I decided to visit. While we can still enjoy it, let’s be childish and have some fun.
VAUNCE Trampoline Park Samsung Center
- Address: B3, 325 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
- Hours: 10:00 – 20:00
- Price: KRW 17,000 for 1 hour / KRW 27,000 for 2 hours (based on on-site ticket purchase)
- Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/vauncekorea/
- Map: Google Maps | Naver Map (Recommended for navigation in Korea)

You can buy tickets directly from the on-site kiosks. (You can also buy them in advance through Naver or the VAUNCE app, but this can be a little difficult for foreigners. Since there isn’t much difference in price, I recommend simply buying your ticket on-site.)
To enter, You must wear non-slip socks. If you already have a pair, you can bring them with you, or you can purchase a pair at the counter for KRW 3,000. Once you have your ticket, you put the wristband around your wrist, scan the QR code, and enter. (Since your usage time is limited, make sure to scan the QR code both when you enter and when you leave.)
For an adult, I thought one hour would be enough if the main goal was the trampolines. So we focused on the trampoline zone and arcade zone, which were the things we most wanted to try. There are also various other activities, such as Sky Challenge, zip lines, and a VR zone, but you often have to wait in line for these, so one hour might not be enough.

As soon as we went in, we started jumping on the trampolines. I thought I would be able to keep jumping for a long time, but after just 10–15 minutes, I started sweating and feeling tired. So this is what they mean when they say jumping workouts are effective for weight loss, I thought. I also wondered how I had been able to jump for so long when I was a kid.
The time I would recommend for jumping on the trampolines is 10 minutes before the hour, around :50, because that’s when “Fever Night” takes place. The lights are dimmed, a disco ball starts spinning, and upbeat music plays.
More people tend to gather around this time, so you either want to get there early and secure a spot, or be quick at finding an empty space. If you prefer a quieter experience, avoid the period from around :50 to the hour.

Of course, there were very few groups made up entirely of adults. At first, I felt a little self-conscious, but there wasn’t really time to worry about it. We immediately started jumping on the trampolines, then, once we got a little tired, moved over to the arcade area to take a break with car racing games, motion games, and so on. (Of course, this also required a little bit of a “who gets there first” game.)
Then we went back to the trampolines, enjoyed the disco ball and music for a little while, and before we knew it, our one hour was up and it was time to leave. My friends and I walked out feeling like all the puffiness in our bodies had disappeared. And the next day came with sore muscles.

+ If you’re visiting COEX or Samsung Station, VAUNCE is an easy activity to add to your Seoul itinerary. After spending an hour jumping around and having fun, you can head to Starfield COEX Mall, the nearby Parnas Mall, or Hyundai Department Store to shop, explore, grab a meal, or relax at a café.
